Orange Juice Joint Pain

Is orange juice unhealthy how much would be too much

Orange:
Orange juice is tricky - we've been told for years how healthy it is, right? True, it has vitamin c, calcium (if you buy the calcium fortified stuff), and it tastes good, but there are a few other things to keep in mind:
- an 8 oz glass of oj has almost as much sugar as a can of soda
- oj has little to no fiber, so that sugar rush can cause an Insulin spike which eventually leads to high cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure and weight gain. Eating the whole fruit is much better for you because the fiber found in the fruit causes the sugars to be digested more slowly which avoids the Insulin spike
- the stuff you buy in the carton has been processed with many chemicals to increase shelf life - even the expensive stuff! If you must have oj, it's much better to squeeze it yourself.
The 2 best bits of dietary advice I can give pertaining to juice is "everything in moderation" or "bypass the juice and just eat the fruit". Your body will thank you.
