Probably too much: Oramorph is much stronger, and shorter lasting, than tramadol, so it may work too well, for too short of a time. It can be surprising, but sometimes these medicines do not work the same as you would expect. Their effects vary from person to person. If tramadol usually worked, normally naproxen, amitriptyline or gabapentin would help for remaining pain. ...Read more

Oramorph: You are on some stout narcotic analgesic. This is likely a side effect and should be discussed with your prescribing physician or pain specialist. I am concerned that you also list tramadol. Generally, you do not take tramadol if you are on chronic narcotic therapy as it may precipitate an acute withdrawl scenario. HIGHLY DEPENDS: Don't screw around with this medication! I have no idea what concentration you have in front of you and people CAN and DO die from its use. If it hasn't been prescribed by a physician to THAT patient CAREFULLY for the appropriate use it can and will be deadly.
