I Just Got My Test Results Saying I Have Gonorrhea, My Partner Confessed He Had Oral Sex 10 Months Ago Is It Even Possible He Carried It That Long?
Yes: You should both get treated. There is no such thing as a perfect relationship. I hope that if you are meant for each other, you'll find this a time for forgiveness, communication, listening, and learning how to make each other happy. Be more ready to give and forgive than to blame. Best wishes to you both. ...Read more

Has the person only had oral sex (and never had any type of sexual activities downstairs, any type at all in her life)? Did the patient adequately explain in a clear conversation what her symptoms and her sexual activities were? The details tell the story. ...Read more

Is it possible for gonorrhea or chlamydia to go unnoticed for 4yrs? Had unprotected oral sex 4yrs ago & just experiencing symptoms now. Are they new?
Extremely unlikely: It is exceedingly unlikely that either gonorrhea or chlamydia would persist so long; almost always cleared by the immune system within a few months. Also oral sex is very low risk. Several conditions cause identical symptoms as chlamydia or gonorrhea (discharge, urinary pain, spotting after sex, etc). See a doctor, but if this is the only possible exposure, these STDs aren't the cause. ...Read more
