Testicular size widely varies among adult males with an average volume of some 31 ml-maybe ranging from 12 to 55 ml as empirically calculated with a formula of D1 x D2 x D3 x 0.71. In general, the size does not matter as long as being adequate for developing male sex characteristics, maintaining sex desire and energy for daily living, and producing ...Read more
Hi, I am having testosterone levels of 350 ng/dL which dropped from 470 in one year. I have small testicles (12 and 11 ml). Can they be responsible?
Unlikely: 1st Q: why were levels checked? Typically, there's no reason to check T level in 20-21yo such as yourself. 2nd Q: what time was blood drawn? T level varies w/time of day, higher in AM & lower in PM. Recommendation: discuss your concerns w/ordering physician. If you have normal male sexual characteristics then don't worry about testicle size. With normal T levels, chances are everything else norma ...Read more
I have been masturbating last 5 years once every day and now I feel like my one testicle is smaller than other is it ok or should I consult a doctor?
Not related: One smaller testicle has likely been present since after you went through puberty. Left testicle can be smaller due to a varicocele (feels like a "beg of worms") or an incompletely descended testis up at neck of scrotum can be smaller ; worth consulting a urologist. However many men have one testicle smaller than other for no reason or if they had groin surgery or mumps. Likely not a problem. ...Read more

What could the small extension next to one of my testicles be? The size hasn't changed since I noticed it as a kid and doesn't feel any different.
Epididymis.: To be reassuring, what you are describing sounds like an epididymal cyst, a very common, benign, and non-cancerous condition. Masses outside of the testicle itself are rarely malignant. However, I recommend you get an exam to make sure it is not something that may warrant a testicular ultrasound. I applaud your use of testicular self examinations. Continue them to see if you notice any changes. ...Read more

What could a dull ache in one testicle be? It has a small lump previously diagnosed as benign via ultrasound.
I have a small lump under the top portions of the epididymis on the testicle. It is present on both but the right one has a small balloon covering.
Here are some...: Glad the concerned spots are in eipididymides, commonly seen, and benign - not cancer. The surest way to handle them is do nothing if not incurring unbearable mental and physical pain and anguish because surgical removal leaves the affected area with a scar and potentially affecting sperm transportation leading to infertility. Have one large boil like bump below testicles and a small rash with a yellow pus close to the anus. Haven't had sex in about 2 months.
Possible tumor: A hard enlarged testicle is cancer until proven otherwise. Soft enlargement of the scrotum can be due to a hydrocele (fluid around the testis) also both can coexist. Have your dr. Order a scrotal ultrasound to find out. Testis tumors have a very high cure rate, but, the sooner they are diagnosed and treated the better. ...Read more
Get it checked.: Diabetes does not cause swelling directly, but can predispose you to a number of conditions that could lead to scrotal swelling. Infections of a testicle or epididymis can cause warm, tender swelling on one side. Kidney damage, or diabetic nephropathy can lead to scrotal edema. If you have swelling of the scrotum, or feel new asymmetry between the testes, get checked by your physician. ...Read more
