Maybe.. but..: Tmj involves over 70 different things and it may or may not be related. I would suggest seeing a dentist with training in diagnosing TMJ problems to determine if it is related or not. ...Read more

You are having: Episodes of migraine headaches, and it seems these are becoming quite frequent. Unlikely you have structural problems in brain or eye, but, if appropriate, your doctor might order MRI or cat. Best outcome if you start preventative approach, with topirimate, depakote, even beta blocker, but also, otc preps like riboflavin, co-q-10, butterbur. A triptan could abort the headache. My wife had a severe one-sided headache, she vomited 3 times and even passed stool. She has rare migraine problem and last night was much more severe.

GET SOME HELP: If her migraines are rare, perhaps best to see if associated with menses, and treat with frova, (frovatriptan) a triptan, within the first 30-60 min of the headache.
