Pregnancy Symptoms: Two things come to mind here. If you are actually miscarrying every month you need to seek specialist advice, testing and evaluation. If you are in fact, not pregnant, then you need to redefine these symptoms as caused by hormonal fluctuations and not pregnancy. ...Read more

Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

Can't really tell: Pregnancy is always a possibility in a woman in her fertile years. Urine pregnancy tests are available at any drugstore, are very accurate if done correctly, and can be done every 4 weeks or so if a woman never has regular periods. A woman can also go to a primary care doctor or an ob-gyn doctor for testing. Changes in mucus, discharge, and cramps can occur without a pregnancy. ...Read more

I've had the Depo-Provera for six months and it's almost time for the new one. But recently i've started experiencing extreme pregnancy symptoms. Could I be?

Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone): Chances are that, if you have received the Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) on time, you are not pregnant. However, no birth control is perfect. I am pregnant. I have got syrinx in my c6-c7 and I have minor symptoms. I need to get a check up MRI done. I haven't had one in five years. Could the MRI be dangerous to the baby or should I wait for 10 months?

I am pregnant. I have got syrinx in my c6-c7 and I have minor symptoms. I need to get a check up MRI done. I haven't had one in five years. Could the MRI be dangerous to the baby or should I wait for 10 months?

Not a problem: A simple, non contrast MRI of this area would pose no risk to the baby. Any contrast agent would need to be assessed and cleared by your OB before i would consider use. If you've waited 5 years, i'm not sure why waiting another would be so bad, yet MRI by itself is not a risk. ...Read more
