Should improve: I would give it another three months. I'd it is still enlarged and sore, get a follow up exam from your surgeon. You could also seek a second opinion from a general surgeon if no improvement after 6-12 months. Best of luck, and hang in there! ...Read more

Why would one testicle be bigger than the other?

Many possibilities: Hydrocele is common, is a sac of fluid around testicle. Left testicle can be smaller if varicocele present. Testicle can be smaller if it was undescended in spite of corrective surgery. One testicle can be minute if it underwent torsion prenatally or in infancy. Possible sequela of mumps.
