If your affected with chlamydia can you spread it to your partner if You receive oral sex if so are there other treatments than antibiotics?
Maybe and no: Did you have a positive test for chlamydia or otherwise think you have it? If so, you should not be having sex at all until treated or cured. That said, chlamydia doesn't take well to the mouth and throat, and your partner probably wouldn't be infected. But it could happen and your partner should be examined and tested. Only antibiotics will clear chlamydia; there are no other treatments. ...Read more

Yeast? Psych?: Already answered once. As discussed there, for sure it isn't chlamydia. Probably no STD at all. If I correctly recall, in your other question you said you tested negative for WBC in your urethra or urine, so probably no infection. Possibly yeast, esp if uncircumcised. Often this problem is psychological. Almost certainly not serious; you should resume sex with your regular partner if you have one. ...Read more
Gonorrhea and chlamydia came back, I am now wondering if the antibiotic treatments have failed or if I have something else?
Reinfection: The most common reason an std returns is because someone re-infected you. Your same partner or a new partner. If you have gonorrhea and chlamydia, all of your partner(s) needs to complete antibiotics too. There are some cases of antibiotic resistant gonorrhea, but those aren't widespread yet. Make sure that on your retreatment, both you and your partner(s) complete entire antibiotic therapy! ...Read more

Make sure: Usually the single dose is effective. I took the one time dose of azithromicin 3 mos ago; I was still tested positive for chlamydia. why is this? What happened?
Rx fail, reinfection: This isn't rare. 5-10% of people with chlamydia have new positive tests after 3-6 months. That's why retesting is recommended. Either you are reinfected (if sexually active and potentially exposed) or treatment failed, which happens 2-3% of the time with azithromycin. Your current partner(s) need to be tested and treated, and you need re-treatment, probably with doxycycline, not azithro. ...Read more

Here are some...: Clinically, that is enough for simultaneously treating a couple for chlamydia as long as remaining asymptomatic and maintaining monogamy. Oftentimes, a 250-mg dose of ceftriaxone is also advised due to a significant co-existing prevalence of Gono. More? Ask your treating doctor. If being symptom-free, it is okay 7 days after treatment.
