You are an Addict:
I do not mean that in any derogatory way. I appreciate that you are aware that you have a problem...Perhaps an obsession for sleep. In most places in the country you can find drug and alcohol programs. Many hospitals will have a detox unit to help with the first few days of coming off so many chemicals.
But, you will survive. You can also find a way back to sanity and to retrain your brain. ...Read more
I took one 5mg valium yesterday and was wondering how long it will show up on a urine drug screen? I'm 6 ft, active in the gym, 190lb, first time user.
Stomach feels hard, no pain, doesn't cause discomfort. I'm 5'10" and weigh 178lbs. No drugs, no meds, no exercise but im active. Like this for one year?
Stomachs are soft: Shouldn't be anything hard inside the abdomen except if a person is constipated. Stool builds up and feels hard. On the surface, the abdominal muscles are hard if a person who is being examined is very ticklish, or has big abdominal muscles. Inside, anything hard needs to be evaluated to see what it is. If the doctor feels something hard, and it doesn't feel like stool, he may order an ultrasound. ...Read more
My doc just prescribed Paxil (paroxetine) 20mg and Metopropol Tartrate 50mg. Take one of each daily. Is this in any way a DANGEROUS combo of drugs? I am scared! : (
I took 1 (one) 50mg tramadol hcl. Will it show up on a drug screen for a job? I don't take them daily.
Depends: Tramadol is not chemically an opiate, and most urine drug screens will not detect it. However, this depends on how extensive the panel your employer is using. If you are taking someone else's prescription, or are getting this medication without a prescription, you have more of a problem than passing a drug test. You need to think about whether you have a drug problem. ...Read more

Actually one of the best resources for over the counter "mixing" is your the pharmacist in your drug store. They know tons about otc supplements that doctors don't deal with.
Biotin (found in eggs) is a great hair and nail supplement. Black currant oil (capsules) have been recommended for thinning hair, too.
But show your pharmacist both boxes with the supplement amounts and see if he/she notices any potential overdosing. ...Read more

Is it good to use safeway brand medication like there vitimins (spellcheck), vs sombody like one a day?
Yes, should be fine: If a person has knowledge of nutrition and has a very balanced diet, then he may not need to take a daily multivitamin because his foods contain enough. I recommend each person take a multivitamin because many people don't have a truly balanced diet. Some people need more vitamin d, calcium, folate, omega3, etc..., depending on individual issues. No one answer...: Deciding on the "right" medicaion to give a yung child with add & odd takes into account a number of things, not just your child's age. Your doctor needs to take into account her specific symptoms, what time of day they are most problematic, how they are affecting her daily function, side effect profiles etc.... There is not one medication that's "right", except what is right for your child. ...Read more
