This is normal: Whenever you stop birth control pills you can expect to have what is known as withdrawal bleeding. This is why you spot or bleed when you forget a pill. Because your reproductive system has been relying on artificial hormones for contraception and cycle regulation, the hormones that orchestration the cycle have been "asleep." Your own hormonal system may take a few months to "wake up". BTW, you could ovulate before your period so, if you don't want to get pregnant, use some type of contraception. ...Read more
