I have had a nissan fundiplacation for acid reflux. It has not helped. I am taking medication. (omeprazole & ranitidine both morning and before dinner?
Complications: .Complications of nissan nclude dysphagia, gastric hypersensitivity, abnormal gastric motility, gas bloat syndrome and gerd relapse. The fundoplicaton can fail, unwrap, loosen or herniate. Not unusual following nissan is dumping syndrome. Complicated: Where is the yeast infection and how do you know that you have it? The medication Prevpac (lansoprazole amoxicillin and clarithromycin) is a combination of amoxicillin, clarithromycina dn lansoprazole, none of which are meant to treat yeast infection, nor is Omeprazole which is used to treat gastric hyperacidity. Is 20 mg omeprazole equivalent to 20 mg pantoprazole? Curretnly on 40 mg omeprazole and then tapering to 20 mg PANToprazole because of a medication interaction

Yes and No.: There is a drug interaction between the two meds involving the cyp2c19 enzyme. This may or may not be clinically significant.
