Not the best choice: Patenol is a terrific drop for allergy symptoms, primarily tearing and itchy eyes. Dry eye is better treated, at least initially, with otc drops like systane, optive, genteal, soothe, or tears naturale (artificial tears). If using these otc drops three or more times daily, best to see an eye md for accurate diagnosis and treatment, possibly the rx drop restasis, or tear drainage duct plugs. ...Read more
