Diuretic?: You list amlodipine, atenolol, and chlorthalidone - are you taking all 4 drugs every day? In particular, your olmesartan will be more effective if taken with a diuretic. Also, is your BP being measured by a validated cuff at complete rest for 10 minutes? Is the elevated pressure an average or an isolated finding? Medications: I do not understand the way you are seeing things. The drug is still in your system. There is a therapeutic dose range that it get's to. If this dose is therapeutic then your blood pressure should be normal. On the dose you are currently on that would have occurred within one week of the change. ...Read more
