Older Kids Need Diapers To Go For Parenting Tips
Should i tell my parents about my diaper fetish/tb desires? I have a diaper fetish and I have been feeling really guilty and depressed because i haven't told my parents, and also because i can't get diapers because i cannot drive yet and i cannot get to a
Hello. : Hello. I think dr kardener provided some very good insights and advice. I think one thing about your diaper festish (which usually means you get turned on by wearing diapers) is that you are keeping it a secret. You clearly stated that you feel guilty and depressed about this. Fetishes are problems when they are causing difficulties in our lives. I think it would be helpful for you to get up the courage to talk to your parents. Don't be surprised if they are upset. They love you and might worry that something is wrong. They also may want to be be very supportive. In other words, just be prepared that you can not predict their reactions. Its funny how loving and wanting to protect your child can make a parent act sometimes. I suspect that your parents love you and you love them or you would not be writing in about feeling bad about not telling them about this part of your life. Don't be surprised if they don't want to drive you to the store to get diapers. I agree with dr. Kardener that it would be helpful to have a professional that you can talk to about these matters. P.S. - thank you for telling us what TB stood for (i would have thought tuberculosis). Take care. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Welcome to...: ...Terrible twos! what you are experiencing is very common: two-year-olds' favorite activity is breaking their favorite toys, starting with their parents. They will find your buttons and they will push them, and they do not take "no" for an answer because they are not yet used to any limitations on what they can do except physical inability to do it. You have to be in charge; there is no choice. ...Read more

Yes: Parenting starts before the child is born. The parent-child relationship is the foundation for the child's development. The parent influences the child and the child influences the parent. Damage from lies about a child what will it do? If a parent is making up lies about their own 14 year old child by saying the child urinates in towels because the child doesn't know how to use a toilet, says the child is bulimia because someone said she i
Yes, : Yes, the is a condition in which a parent or other guardian figure pretends that a child is ill so that the older person gets attention. It's called "munchausen by proxy, " and it can be quite damaging, both psychologically and because it exposes the child to tests and treaments that he or she does not need. I think the best way to handle this is to contact the child's healthcare provider and let him or her know of your concerns. Privacy laws prevent the doctor from talking to you about a patient, but do not prevent you from passing on your concerns. You should also contact the child protective services agency in your area. In fact, depending upon your relationship with the child, this notification might be required by law. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Who is going to help provide good health insurance for children of older parents who are seniors when the kids are 26?
Good question: The hopeful political end to this, and it is all political, is universal coverage. Until that point, hope these children by age 26 have a good job with health coverage. Society takes care of them for more severe problems if they have no coverage but this of course shifts the cost to everyone who planned ahead. Watch for this to be a big issue in the 2012 campaign. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Not directly, but...: I doubt it could be directly related to parental age, but having older parents, like having younger ones implies lots of things. They might not be as healthy or energetic, tolerant, interested in new things, attractive, easy to bring home friends to meet, etc., etc. If you feel cheated by your childhood, & especially if you feel guilty about the resentment - i can easily imagine feeling depressed. ...Read more

My 13 year old son talks a lot about having kids. He says he wants them asap. What can I do as a parent to tell him to wait for children?
Teen wants kids: I would not be too worried about what a 13 year old says about having kids. There is a lot of growing up that still has to occur ! However, if you want to teach him what is required to be a parent let him see what is required. Let him see the sacrifices necessary to be the parent of a child. He may slow down the clock when he sees his needs come second. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
