Does Olanzapine take time to build up in your system? If so, how long?

Of course it does!: ALL drugs take time to build up in your system. That should be self-evident. What you're asking about is called "pharmacokinetics." You can (and should) find out pharmacokinetic info yourself on Drugs. Com/uk, Medscape, Webmd, Epocrates, DailyMed, to name but a few. Doing so will make you more savvy about your meds & thus a better patient & partner with your doctor in your medical care. ...Read more

Is there an drug interaction with Haldol, (haloperidol) Olanzapine, Zyprexa and the antidepressant Wellbutrin?

Yes there are: Zyprexa (olanzapine) is the trade name for Olanzapine so you only have 3 unique drugs listed though some would argue that brand & generic named drugs are technically 2 distinct forms of chemical compounds. There are several SIGNIFICANT reactions (heart rhythm, sedation, neurological issues) that could occur with these drugs so you should talk things over with your doctor if there are concerns or side effects. ...Read more

Abilify (aripiprazole): It appears that you are also experiencing paranoid thoughts, and have been treated for depression. At the same time, if your doctor prescribes the Abilify (aripiprazole), (aripiprazole) with or without the Clonazepam, there is no contraindication. The Abilify (aripiprazole) might also augment the Effexor as an antidepressant, which is another advantage for this recommendation. ...Read more
