Had an ablation in 2002, never any bleeding am 49 years old, odds of getting pregnant?

Had an ablation in 2002, never any bleeding am 49 years old, odds of getting pregnant?

Very Low: The aim of ablation is to destroy the issue in the uterus so that your bleeding stops. And for you that worked. So unless a fertility specialist can surgically try to reverse the ablation (and it can take several attempts) you will not be able to conceive, no matter what fertility treatment you receive. It can be attempted if the uterus is fixed. ...Read more

Pregnancy (Definition)

When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

I'm 32 years old and it being a year trying to get pregnant, I want to know if hysteroscopy can help me getting pregnant?

Also, at hysteroscopy, the tubes can be evaluated to make sure there is flow or patency of the tubes (combined with laparoscopy). If you've been trying for a year, I recommend ...Read more

I am 39 years old and want to get my tubes untied , what are my chances of getting pregnant again?

I am 39 years old and want to get my tubes untied , what are my chances of getting pregnant again?

Ok: Success of a tubal reversal depends on three things: age of the patient and at 39 you are still ok, skill of the surgeon and length of tubal segments remaining. In my experience, the "bands" are the easiest to reverse and give you the best success rates. Ivf is also an option but generally is more expensive. It is a choice. Good luck. ...Read more

Dr. : Dr. Kirk provided excellent information. Regarding the option of acupuncture- here is a little bit more information. Acupuncture has been practiced in china for thousands of years. There are a growing number of md’s and do’s who are practicing acupuncture in the United States. Very thin (much narrower than the needle that blood is drawn with) sterile needles are place into specific areas. Acupuncture can be used to assist with fertility. Many western medical practices are now incorporating alternative medicine such as acupuncture as an adjunct to traditional treatments. Types of acupuncture which can be used includeauricular (ear) as well as energy unblocking through meridians. Acupuncture is safe and can be quite effective. ...Read more

I'm 18 years old I have taken contraceptive pill 3 times, will this effect my ovaries or will i get low chance in getting pregnant?

Unanswerable: Unfortunately I am not sure what you are really asking. If you are taking your birth control as prescribed you can assume you are protected from pregnancy after the first month on the pills. The birth control does affect your cycles and ovulation. But, you could still get pregnant after only taking three of the pills in the pak. ...Read more

Pregnant at 43: Yes you can still get pregnant at 43. You likely do not ovulate on a regular, consistent basis even with regular periods, but you most certainly can still get pregnant. Drug use may affect fertility. You do not want to be using drugs in preconception or pregnancy timeframes for BOTH your health and that of your unborn child. ...Read more
