What's the best way to stop seroxat? I've been on it for 2 years. For OCD and depression. I want to stop be4 pregnancy. I''ll get married in 5 months.
Slowly or substitute: Seroxat is paroxetine or in us called paxil. As ssris it has some of the more difficult withdrawal sx. Stopping for pregnancy raises two issues: 1: the longer you are off the more likely to relapse, 2. Stopping too fast causes worse withdrawal. I would advise taper over 4 weeks. If problem consider change to Prozac (fluoxetine) briefly as it is easier to get off. Staying on med may be safer than relapse of depression as some studies suggest. ...Read more
Had on thin leggings w/ small tear near vagina & thin underwear. He peed than precum with nothing on. Is pregnancy possible? Sorry I have ocd &anxiety
No apology needed: It's not likely. But, to say impossible depends a bit on your ovulation date. If the timing was spot on there's a small chance. If not, it's tiny to almost none. Try not to worry - that can add to the problem. If you miss your period - after a week - do a test and/or have an pro exam. I'm not recommending it, but you can consider the pill. Talk to a Dr you trust. Again, relax. Best! ...Read more

Meds and therapy: Meds (usually antianxiety medications, but not always) combined with therapy with a clinician who specializes on OCD is the best combination to treat OCD, typically. If the anger/fear is resolved then the behavior will decrease ...Read more
