Right thigh will go numb if laying down. Occasional pain in front area. I can usually tell my leg is being touched, but the feeling is very distant.
R/O SCIATICA : . You need a full exam and focused Neuro exam with reflexes Checked. Also X-ray of lumbar spine and if no improvement an MRI to rule out arthritis a bulging disc or congenital back issue. Till then no heavy lifting F/U with doctor for medical treatment. Meralgia: Very likely meralgia parsthetica. An entrapment of the lateral cutaneous femoral nerve as it courses from your abdomen under the inguinal region into your upper thigh. Symptoms may relieve when you lay down or sit. This is a very common ailment. Weight loss is key.

Six months after a c section, my left leg occasionally goes numb and under my belly is still numb also. Is this normal?
Post CS numbness : If the numbness in & around the site of your c-section is not worsening and has improved, you should live it alone. After a year has passed you will most likely have forgotten about it. If the numbness is bothering you or getting worse, this is something to discuss with your gynecologist. Damage to small nerves is not uncommon with any abdominal surgery & most do resolve; it may just takes a while.

See dentist first: Since you've had your heart tested, i would recommend seeing your dentist to evaluate your tm joint and muscles. Female 38y old, 79 kg, sufferin from serious side effects of yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol). Head hurts, fatigue, occasional breathlessness/numbness of left hand, leg. Any cure?
Stop med : If you think that medication is causing those side effects then stop the medication. Birth control pills are out of your system in about seven days. If your symptoms continue then look for a another cause.
