Fatigue: The dark eye color is from fatigue, swelling of capillary beds and pooling of blood in the vasculature. Get more sleep! Swelling and pain in right thumb IP joint with fatigue. Have had this occasionally before but usually goes away. Could it be RA?
Arthritis, probably: this type and location of pain is quite typical of arthritis, particularly osteoarthritis. You are more likely at 63 to have this type than rheumatoid type, and thumb is a very common location in older women. Try Tylenol (acetaminophen) and heat.
