Get checked,,: This should be checked out. There might be an issue with the pancreas causing this or some ulcer like a duodenal ulcer. Or it might be an eating/behavior disorder like bulimia. See your doctor: There are a number of different causes of severe nausea and you should be seen by a doctor to rule-out any serious conditions. A week of nausea could lead to fatigue, so they may be related. It's hard to know if all your symptoms are connected or not, without getting more history and having a physical exam. Hard to tell: A tbi history 17 years earlier may have delayed neurologic sequelae. Some of these include the development of hydrocephalus (usually normal pressure). Your family doctor may be able to do a better evaluation as they will know about other medical problems that may be contributing. Arthritis, probably: this type and location of pain is quite typical of arthritis, particularly osteoarthritis. You are more likely at 63 to have this type than rheumatoid type, and thumb is a very common location in older women. Try Tylenol (acetaminophen) and heat. See a clinician about the fatigue and try to get off the ofloxacin...why should you need two antibiotics? The "oxacins" can cause tendon issues which you don't need. ...Read more

Not to worry: Thee is no disease associated with a high c4. Patients with active lupus may have a low c4. Your other results are confusing. Sounds like you need a rheumatologist to do a complete history and physical exam and to interpret the results of the lab studies. ...Read more

?allergy mediated?: Could be allergy mediated symptoms you are having. Sometimes the type of heat you have (forced air through vents, as opposed to floor radiation, etc) can cause dryness, nose bleeds, etc at this time of year as well. Are you drinking plenty of fluids? Any new meds or herbal remedies? Try liberalizing your salt intake and drink enough to make your urine turn clear. Avoid alcohol and caffeine.
