Are you eating enough a few hours before your spinning class? If not you may be dealing with hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). This can cause the symptoms you described. Try eating a meal at least two hours before working out and monitor for effect. Also, consider seeing your doctor for a physical to make sure there are no underlying conditions that are contributing or causing your symptoms.
All the best. ...Read more
The spectrum: Years ago, with push from educators, they put autism, Asperger syndrome and pervasive developmental delay under an umbrella of the "autism spectrum disorders".It allowed coordinated treatment funding for similar needs, but I consider it like putting appendicitis in an"abdominal pain spectrum". They are separate issues with common needs and some overlap in features. Beyond that it's just words. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

I'm practicing yoga after a long hiatus. How do I determine a safe stretch for my body? I've attended one class, so far, and until my flexibility increases, I want to avoid injury by stretching safely, but still achieve a productive stretch.
I: I recommend discussing this with your yoga teacher. It is always safest to start slow and slowly increase your stretch over many days or weeks as you adjust to the stretch. You want to avoid painful stretches to try to decrease chance of tearing soft tissues or injuring yourself. Good luck! ...Read more
