Weight loss, multiple/waking for bowel movements, inflammation/ulceration near the terminal ileum, pain of abdo and joints, night sweats. Is it ibs?

This may be IBD: mucus and diarrhea is usually a phenomenon of inflammation of bowel. The colonoscope is designed to examine the colon for tumor and can reach terminal ileum but can visualize above it. Belly pain: It sounds like you have IBS. Pain after defecation is a classic sign of IBS. However this is a diagnosis of exclusion. You should get a colonoscopy and EGD to evaluate if you have celiac disease, a motility gut issue, a lactulose absorbption issues, or IBD. Maybe IBS?: If the symptoms have been long term, they may be representative of irritable bowel syndrome. However, other problems must be ruled out before that diagnosis can be determined. All: Narcotics will cause some degree of constipation. Need to review with the surgeon if there are non-narcotic pain medication options. Woke up b/c of bowel movement. Bright blood in stool for the first time. Abd pain, exc burping, extr fatigue. Could a CT with dye detect problem?
Maybe BUT...: Blood in the stool should always be evaluated. Might be from a small anal fissure or bleeding hemorrhoids. More serious causes such as inflammatory bowel disease or tumor needs to be ruled out. You need a proper evaluation before we start throwing out tests to be done.
