Dental fillings: Both are considered safe. The use of amalgam fillings has stood the test of time ; scrutiny for over 150 years. Current materials used for composite fillings have not been around as long. Each has pros and cons. I have both in my mouth ; could have 100% of either for free. Unquestionably, composite fillings are becoming the norm as they too have stood the test of time and improving in durability. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers
Crest or Listerine: Toothpaste will not whiten teeth. Whitestrips will whiten the parts of the teeth they touch, but not in between or near the gumline.. A study would have to have 2 groups of people eating the same foods and the same amounts of foods, except that one group would eat sona masuri and the other group would eat basmati. Which is better for 4 units bridge on teeth # 11 to # 14: a high noble metal in a "yellow gold" color or "silvery gold". ?
Either: Both are ada approved and considered acceptable. However, the high noble will generally last longer. I am assuming that since #11 is involved you will be having it covered in porcelain so from an appearance point of view, either would be fine and close to equal in quality and longevity. The semi-precious or "silvery-gold" should save you money though with the high price of gold. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
