MRI of what?: When you say you had an MRI...of what? The area of the salpingo or the back? If so, which part of the back (lumbar, thoracic, the whole thing). You say it shows nothing...you mean you have no bulging discs, no degenerative disease, no evidence of osteoarthritic changes? May I swap spines with YOU? Yes: It's possible the numbness may be from compression of a nerve. The nerves that leave the spinal cord divide into branches. The compression can occur at the point where the nerve leaves the spinal cord or further on down in one of the branches. I suspect in your case it's one of the local branches.
