Numbness In Right Middle Finger
Hi could numbness in my right hand middle finger be linked to my prolactinoma I have? It was 2mm at my last MRI and since I have had a baby/breastfeed
Carpal tunnel: The most common cause of numbness in the middle finger of the hand is compression of the median nerve at the wrist. The middle finger is followed by the index finger, thumb and half of the ring finger. If you also have blanching of the finger along with numbness you may have raynaud's syndrome, a vascular constriction brought on by cold. Wrist position can affect the numbness.
Tiny clear itchy bumps occur on right middle finger (from mid joint to fingertip). Recently the finger tip feels a little numb.?

Finger Tip Numbness: Carpal tunnel syndrome, often linked to extensive typing on a keyboard, is a common condition associated with finger numbness. The carpal tunnel is a tube-like structure located along the palm side of the wrist. The tube holds and protects the main nerve leading to the hand and the associated tendons. Pressure placed on the nerve produces symptoms, such as finger numbness.
Numbness in my left middle finger, but only the tip of it? I don't type for a living and I don't use it repetitively.

Couple thoughts: Without an actual examination, I cannot give specific medical advice on your particular health but, there's two broad categories of numbness. sick nerves like from diabetes, thyroid, etc. Affects multiple areas, and the tips of longest nerves. Pinched nerves hit ONE area and go outward from the injury. You describe two different things. REALLY sick nerves could be... and stron reason for check upSee 1 more doctor answer

I hit the back of my hand yesterday and immediately had numbness, today same thing. It's right between my first and middle finger. What could this be?
Neuropraxia: This is like a whiplash of the nerves in the hand/wrist region. Hopefully, this will gradually decrease and go away. You can ice the hand to eliminate any swelling that may be present.
Carpal tunnel: You may have carpal tunnel syndrome, characterized by hand pain and recurrent numbness or "pins and needle" sensations in the thumb, index, middle finger and the lateral aspect of the ring finger. It may be triggered by use (driving, keyboard use). Wearing a wrist cock- up splint is very effective. Surgery reserved for severe cases. Check with your physician if symptoms persist or worsen.
What would cause "power surge" feeling thru r hand & fingers, after c4-7 d&fusion? Then numbness along r side of middle finger?
Nerve irritation: Compression of nerves or the spinal cord can cause the symptoms you describe. This compression may be residual, related to your preoperative condition, or new, possibly from disc protrusion or bone spurs. Finally, even after adequate decompression there may be residual nerve irritation. A ct or MRI scan should help with this diagnosis.

I don't know what you want? I have pain, numbness, tingling in my right hand - mostly in middle finger, ring finger, and pinky.
Ulnar neuropathy: Your symptoms sound suspicious for ulnar neuropathy...a pinched nerve, typically at the elbow. When you hit your funny bone, you're actually hitting this nerve. It's caused by leaning too much on the elbow or repetitive movement of the elbow. Don't lean on the edge of a table and don't sleep with your arms curled up tightly under your head. Only when severe, surgery may be needed to decompress.
I have numbness in my thumb first finger and middle finger on my right hand for the last two days what could be the cause of this?
On and off head numbness past few days and 1 occurrence of right thumb paralysis temporarily whilst weakness in index and middle finger causes?
Head numbness?: The differential includes cerebral vasospasm, TIA due to hypotrension or cardiac arrhythmia with a fixed stenotic lesion, acephalgic migraine and focal seizure. Focal seizure is less likely because of the absence of initial "positive symptoms" (Parasthesias) If the head numbness and hand symptoms are unrelated think CTS. If deficits last 24 hours or greater think MS or ICS (not quite MS)
