I have numbness in my left middle fingertip , and I have pain in my left arm.Emg test are normal, i wanted to know what ese can be the problem?
EMG: How long have you had the numbness. Did you have both an EMG and nerve conduction studies. When was the EMG and nerve conduction studies completed in relation to onset of symptoms. Do you have the actual results of the EMG with you or just "it was normal?" in certain situations, if the EMG and nerve conduction studies are done too soon, they will come back normal. ...Read more

I have frequent numbness in my fingertips (most severe in pinky of right hand). Is this the sign of something serious or is it just due to cold?
Numbness: This symptom may be due to a nerve impingement in the wrist by thickened ligaments( caused by prolonged computer usage). Pressure neuropathy: is my best guess, based on your sleep position. Make sure you are not sleeping on your hand, or propping it up or on your chest. Does it eventually go away each day?
