I'm a 23 year old female who is slightly heavy set. All of the sudden about an hour ago, the entire left side of my body obtained this hot burning feeling. I first noticed it in my neck and left ear. My left hand is a bit tingly and very warm. Did I just
See a doctor: See a doctor if these symptoms persisted. Either way try to see your PCP for a full evaluation to check on your BP and to have a full neurologic examination.

I'm feeling extremely tired despite getting 8 hrs sleep a night, falling asleep during day. Episodes of numbness over top of head on left hand side.?
Quantity vs Quality: While you're describing an adequate quantity of sleep, you may be suffering from poor quality sleep, for instance, sleep apnea, which can lead to inappropriate sleeping during the day. Numbness is more worrisome and needs to be evaluated by your Family Doc. If it happens again (especially w/loss of strength), call 911 & get thee to an ER to evaluate for possible stroke (remember FAST).
Pain frm leftside of head straight dwn to left hand sometimes dizzyness tingling n numbness througout body, chest pain did see cardio everything fine?
Consider cervical disc disease: You certainly could have a cervical disc disease. In addition you may be hyperventilating. The cervical disc issue can give you the head pain as well as the arm pain. If you have any past history of neck injury it would be beneficial to get checked out by your family doctor first
I sleep with my left hand tucked under my head. My hand goes numb during the night. If I keep it at my side it does not. It also goes numb when I am holding a phone to my ear. Also, I have three trigger fingers when I wake in the morning. That stops late
Nerve compression: These symptoms sound a lot like typical carpal tunnel syndrome which often occurs at night and with certain activity like holding a phone or driving. An evaluation from a hand surgeon can easily determine if this is suspected and confirm with ultrasound or nerve studies. A high percentage of patients have trigger finger as well if they have carpal tunnel syndrome.See 1 more doctor answer
Female 38y old, 79 kg, sufferin from serious side effects of yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol). Head hurts, fatigue, occasional breathlessness/numbness of left hand, leg. Any cure?
Stop med: If you think that medication is causing those side effects then stop the medication. Birth control pills are out of your system in about seven days. If your symptoms continue then look for a another cause.
For about a week I had a headache in the right upper side of my head which only hurts me on touch, also my left hand/leg are getting numb faster.
See a dr: Headaches can come from fatigue, sleeping too much or too little, eye strain, sleep apnea, snoring, being dehydrated, having chronic sinusitis or allergies, too much caffeine or over the counter headache medication, high blood pressure or something more serious like a tumor. See your doctor and get checked if it doesn't get better in the next month.

Head injury 35 days ago. Lump is still there. Constant high pitch ringing on left ear. Right hand has had slight tremble just as long???????
Needs formal eval: Unilateral (one sided) symptoms in context of head injury requires formal work-up (clinical evaluation and testing). Potential answers depend upon the nature and extent of the original head injury and current test findings.
My left face arm and leg go tingly and numb. Sometimes my arm feels weak. My left ear is ringing. Neurologist says anxiety. Is this most likely right?
Mononeuritis: Not anxiethy. YOu have mononeuritis multiplex. see another neurologist asap. This is treatable, but if you let it go, will become permanent.
19 wks pregnant and constant ringing in my left ear overnight. Numb/tingling/stiff/painful hands/wrists. OB checked BP/urine and normal. Help!
Pregnancy: Ringing in the ear may be from some medication or some ear problems itself, many time no cause could be found. During pregnancy the blood volume is increased and hyperdynamic circulation results, some times you may feel it, nothing to worry. Numbness and tingling may be from carpal tunnel syndrome, kind of nerve compression at the wrist level again common during pregannacy
My neck was injured 2 years ago. My numbness and headaches are worse now. What should I do? Is this serious? I have headaches that last 4 to 5 days, numbness in my hand, forearm and upper arm. My right ear swells up and I have a persistent shrill ringing
If: If these symptoms have been on and off since your injury then we can possibly attribute your symptoms to the neck injury. You may be dealing with a compression or herniation in your spine and/ or arthritis in your spine, obviously in the area that was previously injured. You need to follow up with your primary care provider or orthopedist. If x-rays have not been done recently, then after a thorough exam these should be ordered followed possibly by an mri. In the meantime your doctor can prescribe you anti-inflammatory medications as well as meds directed at nerve pain. Lastly a complete history and physical are in order if one has not been done in the past year or so. All the best.
Hello Doctor, For last two days, I have a mild numbness on my slighlty above my left ear. Can you please help me?
Numbness: Hello ~ watch the spot carefully over the next week to see that you do not develop any rash or blisters in the same area. Might be early zoster thanks
ENT eval: This combo of symptoms requires a careful clinic assessment by ENT exam and an audiogram (hearing test), then an MRI per judgement of the ENT. Vertigo and headache are common, ear numbness is rare, but like much more common ear pain can be the result of a problem involving one of several cranial and cervical nerves. Your ear numbness is most worrisome symptom.See 1 more doctor answer
That's a need for MD: Best solution would be to have this examined by a professional (family doctor), and throat cultured and assessed. Upper respiratory tract infections may well be due to virus, bacteria, etc. You might try using a netti-pot or nasal saline spray along with a decongestant and nsaid. This sounds like it may be due to sinus disease, in which case the above might well help.
My left ear keeps going numb for a second. Sometimes when it happens my cheek goes numb too. Noticed physical activity takes the numbness away. Why?
Doctor can evaluate: Numbness of an ear usually means the skin sensation of the earlobe and cheek have decreased. An ENT doctor or a neurologist can evaluate to see if something is bothering the sensory nerve to those areas on the head. Not sure why physical activity changes things, but activity does change blood flow. Of course, there are hundreds of types of physical activity, so the doctor will ask for details.
