Muscle spasms: Thick bands of muscles are located on both sides of the spinal column. Often following injury these will go into spasm and even pinch nerves that result in tingling and numbness. This requires eval: Your symptoms and signs (white count of 14,800) are numerous and only an in-person evaluation/examination can adequately assess them. I might think of some form of infectious colitis with your mucus BM's and elevated WBC count; the numbness/tingling and pain could be something entirely different. Probably okay: Need to see a physician to be sure nothing else going on but most likely no concern. What type of exercise causes it? Does it happen mostly when doing work lying on a bench or sitting against a hard seatback? Any tingling "numbness" in arms? Too many questions to address this problem in this forum. ...Read more
