Hi. I've been eating vegan/raw foods for the past 2 1/2 years. But I noticed when I eat cooked foods my stool becomes greasy with an orange oil color.
Orange stool: Orange color stool could be from orange-colored foods or high in beta-carotene or from medications but could also indicate liver or gall bladder dysfunction. It is recommended to consult with a doctor to rule out liver or gallbladder disease especially if symptoms persist or develop worsening symptoms such as but not limited to abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting. ...Read more

I have severe pain everywhere(thigh muscles, chest, stomach, e.T.C) when i eat fruits vegetables both cooked and fresh, water, any sugary foods. Why?
Pain everywhere: It sounds like you've had a medical workup and come up without an answer. One long shot answer is that the problem may be caused by unconscious stress related to those foods that results in muscle tension and associated pain. A psychologist might be able to help under those conditions. But, it's a long shot. Have you considered going to the mayo clinic or some other diagnostic facility? ...Read more
My stomach has become extremely weak, I've been vegan for 6 months and everything I eat upsets my stomach, even raw foods.
I am vegan and only eat whole foods (fruit, veg, whole grains, beans, etc.), and I drink 2-3 L H2O/day, yet I've been constipated recently. What's up?
A few possibilities: You're correct that a diet rich in fruit, vegetables, fiber & water should prevent constipation. However, some vegetables (like cruciferous veggies, esp. raw) can suppress thyroid function and hypothyroidism can cause constipation- see http://tinyurl.com/koyamo5 An imbalance of Gi flora (including yeast overgrowth & certain parasites), magnesium deficiency & stress are among other possible causes. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
