Nose Wart Removal
I've a red pimple-like spot on nose, near wart removal. I feel so anxious it's cancer. I have an apt soon, but what can I do/look for in meantime?
Probably nothing: Skin lesions that are malignant ie squamous Ca, basal cell Ca appear as areas of superficial ulceration, with some bleeding and rescabing. If there is a small red area near previous wart, probably inflammatory. Use A&D ointment q day for about 2 wks and see what happens. If progression to ulceration then try EFUDEX (fluorouracil).
I have what appears to be a small growth of extra skin on the back of my head that looks like a large wart. Can I try removal at home first?
No: Please don't as the scalp is very vascular and prone to bleeding profusely. Have a dermatologist do it, please.See 1 more doctor answer
I had nasal wart removal 4 months ago still having post nasal drip and voice issues could this be CSF + have 2 inflamed lymph nodes in upper back neck?
CSF Leak: Leaks such as those are usually deadly within hours. Contact your physician for other options.
Not sure: There are a # of possible causes. The best way to get an accurate diagnosis would be dermatological evaluation.
See a Dermatologist: If you have a wart on the tip of your nose, and you want to make sure that it does not leave a scar after removal. Make sure you see a dermatologist. There are many ways to remove warts, some leave a scar, some do not. It is also important to note that what appears to be a wart may not actually be a wart. I would see your dermatologist to make sure it is just a wart before removing it.

I'm: I'm assuming this is inside your nose, and probably a squamous papilloma if it is wart-like. The two main reasons I would recommend you see a physician for this is to determine that it is, in fact, a benign lesion that does not need to be sent to pathology for tissue diagnosis, and to be able to biopsy/excise this under aseptic conditions to minimize the risk of infection.
I have a wart like feature on my nose. It came and went for about 3 months then remained. Looks like pimple but hard im 42 and get a lot of sun this appeared about 6 months ago
Difficult: Difficult to answer without a clinical examination, but given your age and that it is located on the nose, I would be concerned with the possibility of a skin cancer. It could be a wart, a nevus, a skin cancer, or other possibilities. Take a look at the link below to see a few example pictures of skin cancer and then I would recommend you see a dermatologist for further evaluation. I hope that helps!
Several options...: ...Depending on where the wart is, exactly. It can be frozen with liquid nitrogen if close enough to the nostril edge. It can be numbed with local anesthesia and curetted or shaved off. It can be numbed and then cauterized with an electric needle. All depends on size, location, and skill set of the doctor.
How can I get rid of a wart on my nose they have cut it out with a biopsy, and also tried to freeze it off but came back
First,: First, I would presume the biopsy confirmed it was a wart? If so, I would recommend that you try liquid nitrogen treatment again but make sure that you do a follow up appointment about three weeks after the initial treatment. Sometimes, a second treatment session is very helpful to "polish" off the base of the wart. There are a few other topical options but typically a wart on the nose resolves fairly easily with liquid nitrogen. I hope that helps!
I have what looks like a blister/wart on my nose, it's been there for 3 years. I am tempted to pop it, what is it and how should it be removed?
NO: Nasal skin lesions should be treated by a dermatologist or pcp. This area of the face is prone to infection if a skin lesion is manually treated. Sterile treatment is recommended. I would see your physician, especially since the exact diagnosis is unknown.
I had a wart removed on nose. Not cryo-treated. On other side, red pimple-looking spot for 2+ weeks now. Wart? Dr. appt in 2 wks. Should I be worried?
Small wart on face between eye n nose how to rid of it without any marks left it occured from 2 months now?
Get it seen: Possibly your primary care physician or dermatologist will cauterize it. This is a better plan than simply trying cold or a wart removing medicine, since this is on your face.
I've had a pimple on my nose for over a month. I had a wart on other side. Could it be a wart? Looks like other nose pimples, but doesn't go away.
A wart is possible: What have you done to treat the pimple if it is a pimple. Have you seen your doctor or dermatologist?
I have a pimple like bump on my nose. I do pick at it a little. It does scab, im not sure if its a wart, or a pimple, or something more serious.?
Needs Exam: It could be a variety of different types of benign lesions, but could also be a skin cancer. Really needs to be looked at to be confident.
I have a wart growing in my nose. I also have the type of HPV that causes cancer. Should I be concerned about the wart causing cancer in my sinuses?
Probably unrelated: Many non-wart growths can look like warts, so you need to see a doctor to confirm the diagnosis, and to make sure it isn't cancer itself. Probably not, but better safe than sorry. Even if you have a nasal wart, probably it is a different strain than the one you have (or had) in the genital area. Most genital HPV is cleared by the immune system; probably you don't have it any more.
