How long would a person need to have a urinary tract infection before the infection spread to their blood stream?

varies: That's a tough question to answer because everyone is different. An untreated UTI can ascend the ureters and involved the kidneys (pyelonephritis). This untreated can lead to sepsis (infection spread into blood). Timing can depend on many things such as anatomy, organisms involved as well as time that antibiotics are initiated. ...Read more

Hi there is it normal for a males urine stream not to be strong all the time my age is 41?

Often normal, but...: Urine stream naturally gets weaker as men age, so maybe nothing is abnormal. But it can be due to an enlarging prostate gland, so you should bring it up with your doctor next time you have a routine appointment. If this is new and started suddenly, see a doctor right away. I'm also a bit concerned that you listed pain, itching, and balanitis as Conditions; this could be related to those. ...Read more

I am a 23 year old female. I was wondering if it was normal for my urine stream to be very strong?

I am a 23 year old female. I was wondering if it was normal for my urine stream to be very strong?

Not necessarily: As long as you have no burning when urinating or have red color (blood?) or other dark color or frequency of urination I see no need to be overly concerned.
