Normal Stool Color Chart
Black: Jet black stools, assuming you are not eating things which will do this, may signify old blood. Also if you see bright red blood this is of concern. If your stool is completely white that is not normal. All other colors are usually related to your dietary intake.
No: I presume your stools are loose or watery. You should see your doctor.See 1 more doctor answer

Can be: As long as the stool is some variation of brown, green, yellow then you're OK
Black spots/sprecks in stool, stool is not completely black but I can see many small spots which don't look normal. Stool color is also different.
Fecal impaction: You should see your primary doctor. Fecal impaction, constipation could be explanation for your symptoms. If you have bleeding (when stool could be black/dark red) colonoscopy can help understand the source of bleeding. Cancer/cancer bleeding unlikely at age 21. Another test: stool for parasites. Poop Colors: The color of stool is not usually concerning, as it reflects a lot of things we eat. Dark black, red or white stools are the only colors that are worrisome.See 1 more doctor answer
Since three weeks I removed gallbladder, stool color was normal dark color recently I noticed the stool is light color near yellow. Is it normal?
Biliary stricture?: If the liver is unable to get bile into your intestine, it can cause you to have pale or yellow stools. Bile is what makes stools brown. This can sometimes occur after gallbladder surgery which can cause the bile ducts to narrow and cause a stricture. Sometimes stents are needed to open the ducts back up and allow free-flowing bile. See your surgeon if this continues to be a problem for follow up.
Sir I am 21 I have normal stool color with red tints in it. Or in other way little red spots in stool. What they are please tell me. And advise me.
Cannot say for sure: They could represent specks of blood from hemorrhoids, or the residua of foods you are eating. The best thing to do is consult your doctor and have a physical examination.
Normal liver enzynes normal colonoscopy but stool color is bright yellowish brown what do I test for or is this normal?
Can't fix normal: Stool color is dependent on the main colorizing agent, deep green bile, and the action of germs in the gut as poop moves though it. Normal colors range through deep greens through yellows to browns depending on how long it stays in the gut & the effect of gut germ metabolism. What you describe is well within the normal range for stool color.See 3 more doctor answers

Started taking plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) 2 months ago, since than have light stool color. As of a week ago, liver and pancreas enzyme are normal, billirubin is norma?
May not be related: This may not be related to the plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine).Uncertain why you are taking plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine). I would advise a gastroenterology evaluation. I agree with the liver and pancreas tests but if this is really a very light stool one would need a more involved workup.
