Ultrasound indicates normal size liver but cirohsis. Hep c, no ascietes, no swelling, sgot, sgpt high. Gallstone. Ef heart 40%.What is best option?

Why are there so many normal variances for liver size? Is there not a standard measurement in the medical field?
Mildly enlarged liver 18cm echogenicity and contour normal all blood work normal. Could this just be my normal liver size? How enlarged is 18 cm?
Maybe.: How large are you? If you are small or average height and weight then your liver is mildly enlarged. If you are a taller and heavier person, then your liver size could be your normal. See GI doctor...: You need to see a GI doctor, if you haven't already. It's difficult to know what is wrong with the description given. You need to have an imaging study of your abdomen/pelvis, meaning a CT scan and/or an ultrasound. Depending on what those studies reveal, you may need to have a liver biopsy performed. Ct scan to investigate possible lyphoma came back normal but liver size was at top of normal size range. Shud i worry about this? Sign of lymphoma?
