No: If your numbers are doubling in 44 hours, that is completely normal. Fingers crossed for you! ...Read more
Hcg 11, 563, 5 days later 22, 516. True that doubling times increase with higher numbers? Could this be ok? Spoke w/nurse gave me #'s only :-(
My Hcg doubling time went from 42 hours to 68 hours. Does this mean I'm most likely going to miscarry. ?
It really depends: The significance of doubling time depends on how far along you are in pregnancy. The rate of increase in HCG peaks at about 8-10 weeks then starts declining after that. If you're less than 8-10 weeks along, then a combination of symptoms, clinical judgment and serial ultrasounds are at least as important as HCG levels in determining the fate of your pregnancy. Please talk to your OB. ...Read more

Dpo/hcg levels: 14=233; 15=389; 16=683; 19=2821; 21=4643; 22=6533; 24=9596 (86 hrs doub. Time). Can high early hCG = earlier decline in doubling time?
Not really!: The 'doubling time' is not strict, it's a rough guide. Normal pregnancies may only go up by 2/3 in 2 days not 'twice.' furthermore each level is accurate to about +/- 15%, they are not 100%. Your numbers look normal, i wouldn't wear out your calculator doing this kind of thing. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Irregular gestational sac with yolk and hCG doubling. Is there still a chance that irregularity may revert to normal?
My hCG levels were at a 47 11dpo, 83 13dpo, and then a 193 dpi. Is that a normal doubling? Could I be having more than one?
Unpredictable: Trends in the pregnancy hormone levels of multiple gestations are so unpredictable because they can have one placenta or more than one placenta, or one pregnancy could be a viable and the other could not, or both could be viable and so the rate of increase wouldn't really predict anything. the only way to know is an ultrasound when your levels reach 2000. ...Read more

My hcg was 31 at 13dpiui and 50 at 15dpiui. My doctor didn't seem optimistic. It's about a 70hr doubling time. Can it still be ok?
Yes: Over 48 hours, it should go up by 50% and not necessarily double. Keep following it. As long as its rising by 50% every 48 hours, you can still have a normal pregnancy. ...Read more
