Doctor insights on: Normal brain vs anxiety brain
I have Brain anurysm anxiety! I'm so scared that I have one. I've smoked for a while and drank alchohol a good bit. I've had 2 CT scans were normal?
Stay calm: No one can promise you that you won't have a brain aneurysm but your risk is no greater than anyone else's and we all live with risk everyday. One must be somewhat fatalistic. We all will die of something one day. You're young (17). There is no need to think about this until you're much older and have had many more experiences to put life and death into perspective. Try to take it 1 day at a time. ...Read more

I normally have normal blood pressure readings at rest, but struggle with anxiety. Sometimes I even have panic attacks that last over an hour. Can regular blood pressure spikes from anxiety cause brain aneurysms to form?
UNCONTROLLED SUSTAINED high blood pressure is the "killer" and only PROLONGED UNCONTROLLED high blood pressure has been implicated in aneurysm development. (Not to "worry" you but most cereebral aneurysms are CONGENITAL (you are born with them) and are aymptomatic in the vast majority of folks who have these rare "bubbles"!)
Hope this is helpful

Can lead to some: Feelings of head pressure, but always need to rule out anything else first. Therapy?: Have you yet tried any form of psychotherapy? Typically, the optimal combination of things to treat emotional issues such as anxiety or depression is medication (which, on your best day, is supposed to take the edge off symptoms) but the real gruntwork takes place in psychotherapist's consulting room. Your symptoms are not uncommon for someone trying to live life sober. ...Read more

Some of the options:
Cervical radiculopathy, transverse myelopathy, ulnar / radial / median nerve impingement (incl carpal tunnel syndome), brachial plexopathy, peripheral neuropathy (there are many causes), and vascular disorders, such as calciphylaxis.

Eye twitching and muscle twitches random. Had a normal brain MRI and emg. Is this concerning? Or anxiety related?
Experiencing excess saliva recently. History of mild tingling/numbness/arm weakness/need for deep breath. Normal blood tests/ekg/brain mri. Anxiety?
It depends.: I do not think that a heart condition is likely, given your age and results under normal conditions. It depends on when you get these episodes, and under what circumstances. If they happen during a hectic period in your day, like at work, etc., I would say anxiety is likely. However, if they occur at random points during your day, or after exertion, I would say get a stress test, etc.. ...Read more

Question?: I'm not sure what your question is. While headaches are a symptom of a brain tumor, only a very small number of patients with headaches actually have brain tumors, since headaches are so common. Pain with coughing, sneezing or bending over could be caused by sinus disease. If you know that your brain CT was normal, I suggest you relax and see what your doctor says on Monday. ...Read more
