What is a normal blood pressure and pulse for some one 80?

What is a normal blood pressure and pulse for some one 80?

140/80 p 75: The goal is to keep your blood pressure below 140/80 and above about 110/70 . Anything in that range is good. Most "normal" blood pressures are outside of this range and should be treated. Heart rate should be below 100 and above 60. ...Read more

I use seroquel (quetiapine) 300 mg pr. Day. My resting pulse is often above 100. I'm quite tall and have normal blood pressure and work out. Norm. Weight. Wtd?

Common side effect: I suggest, if you are otherwise healthy, that you try and make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids, water is best. I bet that will help. Also, remember seroquel (quetiapine) may cause weight gain, so watch out for that. Finally, be sure to discuss this with the dr. Who prescribed the medication. ...Read more

When I go to the doctor, my otherwise normal blood pressure spikes high. What can I do to lower it at the doc?

When I go to the doctor, my otherwise normal blood pressure spikes high. What can I do to lower it at the doc?

High Blood pressure: High blood pressure is an abnormal response to stress. So it's not normal to have a high BP at the doc. The body doesn't care what type of stress...Emotional, fatigue, alcohol, pain etc. Early on BP will be normal at home, while sleeping etc. But gradually it will go up and be high most of the time. The "white coat" excuse is way overused and rarely a diagnosis. Most just have high bp. ...Read more

No such thing: Jnc7 guidelines are very clear reagarding normal and elevated blood pressure. Normal blood pressure is 140/90 mmhg (130/80 for diabetes). 139/89 mmhg is normal and wouldn't prevent jump. ...Read more

My reverse t3, (liothyronine) serum is 35ng/dl. It seems really high for my age (35/m), with normal blood pressure. Any suggestions on how to lower rt3?

My reverse t3, (liothyronine) serum is 35ng/dl. It seems really high for my age (35/m), with normal blood pressure. Any suggestions on how to lower rt3?

Not a valid test: You may be reading too much nonsense on the internet. Reverse t3 (liothyronine) has little to no value in the diagnosis, treatment, or monitoring of thyroid disorders. It has very limited value as a diagnostic test in people with "sick euthyroid" syndrome. Any symptoms you have are not related to this level. ...Read more
