My 10 mo has GERD and sometimes tenses up and clenches her fists for a second or two and then goes about her normal play. Is it gas or something else?
Cramping, VERY gurgly tummy, gas, tired, change in bowels bloating 3 days after normal period. On BC 8 mo always taken on time NEVER missed. Pregnant?
44 y.o. F, nausea w/o vomiting for 3 wks, some aching glands, flatulence approx. 1 mo., history of ovarian cysts, abdom. pain past 3 mo. - related?
Maybe maybe not: This sounds more like a gastrointestinal issue than an ovarian issue especially with the increase flatulence. A lot of women have IBS in addition to GYN problems. Excessive bowel activity (lower) can also increase nausea. Of course if its possible for you to be pregnant, please check a pregnancy test. Passing gas: since apr/13, my volume is up 200-400%. High fiber diet. Lithium toxicity undiagnosed 5 yrs. Dosage lowered to 450mg 6 mo's ago.Related?
Not from Lithium: Your increase in flatus is more likely due to your high fiber diet, rather than lithium. Lithium can cause diarrhea ; loose stools in 20% of patients. You could avoid gas-forming foods like broccoli, beans, onions, fermentable fiber, lactose, etc, for a couple of weeks ; then test 1 by 1. ...Read more

Fever and flatus: Flatus (gas) is caused by all kinds of things the most likely of which is swallowed air due to excessive crying. Give this time and as long as she is having no other issues, let this resolve on its own. There is really not much else that can and needs to be done unless there is something else going on that you have not mentioned. ...Read more
Its been 4 mos. With diarrhea before I finish any meal. Gas/cramps/bloat. I was told it was too much soy meat, but I've cut it out for 1 mo. & nothing?
1 mo. Postfundoplication I hiccup 50x day. Tx is gas-x, ativan, (lorazepam) full liquid diet. Soft food sticks at wrap. What can I do? When will hiccups stop?
Less-sticky foods?: Many websites describe having hiccups as one of the expected side effects of weight-loss surgeries. The exact cause is uncertain, but some say it is a "new" sign being full (of food in the "tummy"), and might by helped by eating/swallowing slowly. One can talk with the surgeon to see what his experience is with his patients, whether their hiccups last one month or one year, etc... ...Read more
