Just a: thought but you could have something as simple as WAX IMPACTION in that ear!!!

See your Family Doc: It sounds to me like you have several issues going on at same time. Post-nasal drip could be from allergies which could lead to ear discomfort b/c Eustachian tube dysfunction. OTC antihistamines can often help. Seborrheic dermatitis is a separate condition (http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/seborrheic-dermatitis/basics/definition/con-20031872) as are your wet ears: otorrhea? infection? ...Read more

Cradle cap can : appear in ear folds & behind ears, though it more often starts on the scalp. It's a "potato-chip" rash - dry, but greasy, akin to dandruff. If mild, it requires no treatment except gently brushing off loose flakes of skin before shampoos. Teething symptoms: Some children do get a low grade fever, diarrhea and drooling. You can treat them simultaneously. Ibuprofen is more effective for teething than tylenol (acetaminophen). You can also let your baby chew on a cold teething ring. Keep the fluids coming. If you prefer tylenol (acetaminophen), it is important you do not give your baby more than four doses of Acetaminophen per 24 hours. Acetaminophen really challenges the liver. ...Read more
