See your doctor: Have you been to her doctor yet? Maybe there is an infection in her ear or her throat or somewhere else, and her doctor could give her something that will make her feel better. Or maybe this is a virus that will run its course. 14 month old son has a fever and consistently drooling. Molars may be coming in but the fever stay at 101 regardless of the medicine. Is this normal?
Other symptoms?: Fever itself is never an evil "symptom." it is a sign of an infection that if fully vaccinated-may be a virus germ that will improve with"comfort" care and support. May be normal: There will be normal ups and downs in appetite at this age. Make sure he is still eating regularly and acting satisfied. Drooling may be due to increased stimulation of his mouth with his hands. Make sure his nose is clear so he can breathe through it (or he will keep his mouth open to breathe and drool more)- use nasal saline and a bulb syringe to suction it out whenever needed. ...Read more

Fever : You need to take him to his pediatrician. But at the mean time try to control the fever with tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen , lukewarm bath & keep him hydrated with small frequent sips of fluid, this could be a throat infection, viral illness or teething.
