Lab data: These data can only be interpreted in the context of clinical issues. You need to go back and ask the doctor who ordered these tests what they mean. Without knowing why they were ordered the results are meaningless. By the way, they are so close to normal that would not worry about it. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Small cells/less hgb: When a kid has small blood cells & reduced hemoglobin there is something interfering with the process. For some, it can be lack of iron in their diet which would also show up as anemia. For some, it is a genetic abnormality like thalassemia where the protein strands that make up the blood are not made correctly leading to the small depleted cells. ...Read more

PVCs: PVCs are usually benign...they can cause problems if you have them more than 20% of total heart beats. They can be uncomfortable for you as well with only a few a day. Interesting you relate them to low refined carbs....not sure what the connection is.....pay attention to what you tend to replace your refined carbs with, that could be your answer. ...Read more

Im 46 my pelvic sono states my uterus 7.9 cm and endometrium is 12.0mm thickness trace hypoechogenicity within fundal endometrium. is this normal?
It depends: on other symptoms and factors. Your age and pregnancy and menstrual status are important, The size is at the upper limit of normal, the thickness is at or above the upper limit of normal . If you are in your late 30s or 40s and near menopause, my first suspicion would be trhat you have uterine fibroids which are causing some abnormal bleeding. But then I am guessing without much clinical info ...Read more

This means nothing: White blood cell percentages fluctuate wildly from day to day and even hour to hour. This means nothing and I often wish labs wouldn't even report these. Only if the absolute counts go very far from the reference range are they worth paying attention to. THe only real question is whether to proceed with the workup of the bone lesion. Good luck. ...Read more

See allergist: Very high eosinophil count (>1500) when persistent may cause organ damages and even death depending on the cause. If this is a one time finding, get the test repeated in 30 days and see if these abnormalities persist. If yes, then consult an allergist. If you had recently traveled to a developing country , parasite is one thing to rule out. ...Read more
