At 100 mg of topmax, recommend at least 50 mcg of ethinyl estradiol. A non-hormonal form of contraception should be considered if a greater certainty of pregnancy prevention is desired. ...Read more

Is micronor (norethindrone) effective full 24 hrs when taken on time? Or is 1 hr before taking pill not good time for sex?
OCP efficacy : As with all oral contraceptives (especially Progesterone only pills) it is important to take the pills at consistent time each day. If you have been taking them consistently since your last period it does not matter what time of day you take it or when you have sex, for that matter. More important is the consistent daily use. ...Read more
On trt. Three pills sublingually daily. Each pill is 50mg of t compounded with 0.5mg of armidex. Is this a scary dosage?
Safe testo dose: It appears you're taking 150mg and 1.5 mg. Of testosterone+arimidex sublingually on a daily basis. That is a very high dose of both substances. If spironolactone (for acne) is androgen blocker - how does this not have any interaction with androgenic progestin such as levonorgestrel/Mirena?
It could: The circulating levels of Progesterone secreted by Mirena (levonorgestrel) are very low making androgen side effects possible but uncommon. Spironolactone would decrease the androgenic effects if they were to be present although a doctor would not typically treat Mirena (levonorgestrel) side effects this way. If I were the physician treating someone with androgenic side effects of Mirena (levonorgestrel) I would just change birth control methods ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
