What are the non shadowing gallstones?

A year ago I had abdominal ultrasound and the results were belly sludge vs. shadow gallstones. What does that mean?

Gallstones: It just means you have gallstones and some thickened bile fluid in your gall ladder. If you have been having pain in your abdomen on the upper right side those stones may be causing it. If not then you have asymptomatic gallstones which are very common and are nothing to worry about. If you are having pain I would see your pcp about it so they can refer you to a surgeon to remove the gallbladder. ...Read more

They can block the ducts or tubes that drain the liver or pancreas causing jaundice or pancreatitis if they pass from the gallbladder to these tubes. Some drugs have been used to dissolve small stones; but the treatment is long, and the stones return when the drug is stopped. Ercp can be used to remove stones in the bile ducts. ...Read more

Could someone possibly flush a 3cm gallstone?

Could someone possibly flush a 3cm gallstone?

By simple mathematics, u can not flush 30 mm stone through. Also, having a stone bigger than 20 mm, puts u at higher risk for cancer and fistula (abnormal connection) to bowel. ...Read more
