I've tried limiting purines from a diet perspective. Is there anything anyone has tried before i take allopurinol?
I don't have a diet high in purine, but i have got diagnosed a UTI and high uric levels, would this be related to my kidneys.
I have a gout for 3 weeks now and still don't go away. Im taking colchicine and febuxostat. What else should I do. Im on low purine diet.
Treatment of Gout: There are 2 types of treatment for gout. One type of treatment are medications(e.G . Colchicine) decreased the symptoms of inflammation such as pain and swelling. Last month my uric acid level was 217 umol/l and now it rises to 469 umol/l. I had gout. Im on a low purine diet. Wht should be the reason of increase?

Gout? Beer 1X month, shellfish cause bodywide fasciculations, pain, and tingling of extremities. I do good on a low purine diet. No swelling or heat.
