Allergic vs Scarlet: If you have a rash that we can look at it would be helpful to give you a better idea. If some of the rash disappeared then it's less likely to be anything serious. I doubt it was scarlet fever based on what you have described but it's possible. Other causes could be allergic reaction or medication reaction. Non-itchy rash: Many possibilities: might be sensitivity to bath soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, dyes/ chemicals in new (unwashed) shirt, cologne or body spray; if u sweat a lot, might be prickly heat; might be viral infection like measles/ rubella. Cool compresses & oral antihistamine (claritin/zyrtec/benadryl) may help. See doc for close exam of rash for more exact possibilities. ...Read more

Sounds viral: Your complaints sound to be viral in nature. Sometimes aches and pains can be present for days to weeks after a viral illness. If symptoms continue for another weeks or so i would see a physician. Other symptoms to be watchful for include fevers, return of the rash, swelling or warmth to the joints for example to name a few.
