I have had green stool for over a week. No fever, no stomach pain and no nausea. I had part of my large intestine and colon removed in march.
Stool color: The green in stool is usually from bile, which normally turns to brown upon action of enzymes and bacteria in your bowels. Change in color can happen with certain dietary changes, if the speed of movement through your bowels increases or with changes in diet. The colors that can indicate a problem are red if you are bleeding, or black (which can be a sign of bleeding in the stomach orupper bowel). ...Read more

My wife has been throwing up with severe headache and neckpain for two days, no fever or stomach pain. Any ideas?
Get checked out now: Severe headache, neck pain & vomiting can be caused by anything from a migraine to bleeding, tumor or infection in the brain. An exam, some testing, and more detailed questions will help find the cause. Even if it is "just" dehydration, after two days it will likely need prescription medication and IV fluids to get it under control, so I would head over to a nearby urgent care or er now. ...Read more

Wife has 101.8 fever & some left stomach pain. Chills. Headache. Hard to walk. Is it flu? Fine yesterday. Woke up this am with tickle in throat.
Sounds viral: The fever, chills, headache can be flu symptoms. One thing to consider is mononucleosis which is also a viral infection. Worsening of the sore throat associated with swollen lymph nodes, fatigue, and pain in the stomach area may further suggest mono. Control the fever and encourage fluid intake. If your wife is not better in two days you should get her to a doctor for evaluation. ...Read more
Just finished a medrol (methylprednisolone) pack. Now I have back, flank and stomach pain with nausea, dizziness and low grade fever. Could this be a side effect?
Doubt it: Anything is possible in the universe but I wouldn't put my money on all of that being SIDE EFFECTS of the MEDROL (methylprednisolone). Extended=distended?: Probably constipation/fecal impaction. Chronic constipation is not healed by one bowel movement. There could be some relief with lactulose, but you will need to consult for chronic treatment. Could also be mesenterial adenitis - although more likely if there was fever. Mesenterial adenitis normally due to viral infection - only symptomatic treatment. ...Read more
