To diagnose diabetes your doctor would need to test your blood glucose and/or A1c level. It is good that you quit smoking. Losing weight is not easy and it gets harder with increasing age. Joining a group like weight watchers may help.

I am not sure: The study of 300 people how cracks there fingers, -cracking was not associated with arthritis, it was associated with damage to ligaments that surround the joint and dislocation of tendons.
