Nodule On Diaphragm
Ct found 2 nodules in diaphragm, wants me to follow up in 3 months, is this normal and why would this have been spotted in my abdominal ct not chest?
In or under?: Were the nodules IN the diaphragm (the muscle) or underneath it? Were they near the liver, by chance (which sits underneath the diaphragm)? Without seeing pictures, it's hard to say, but either the nodules were missed on the chest CT or they were in a lower position, where the CT of the chest did not reach. The diaphragm is the border between the chest and the abdomen.
Tiny 3 mm nodule within the left lower lobe after a ct scan done on Monday March 21st. Could this be inflammation because my diaphragm been hurting??
It is concerning.: While I'm unable to state anything with any degree of certainty based on hat description, we generally do not like to see individuals with diffuse lung and liver nodules or lesions. This does require immediate clarification of underlying process. An investigation needs to be done right away, including biopsy of any accessible nodules.
I have recently noticed a palpable nodule in the ruq of my abdomen. Approximately 1cm in diameter; not sentsitive to touch. Should I be concerned?
My sister has fluid on her lungs, she has cancer in her abdomen wall and has spread to her nodules. How long to live?
Life span: There is no one but God that knows the number of days we each have but you are describing someone with a terminal disease process. I would advise your sister to get her affairs in order. There is no way to know exact how long she will live. Best of luck to you and your sister.

Did she get bitten: By insect? Is there any sting bite? Itching? None. Refer to dermatologist/ hematologist

Pain in right testicle that radiates up to right side of abdomen. Not epididymis. Small painful nodule where vas deferens and testicle converge?
See a doctor: While it sounds like it could well be epididymitis, it could also be a kidney stone or torsion of a testicular appendage. How do you know it's not epididymitis? Early on even the best of tests can yield false negatives though my money is on a torsion of a testicular appendage usually located at the top of testicle between the testicle and the epididymis. You should go to the ER now.See 2 more doctor answers

I had ultra sound, they found few nodules about 4, measuring 1cm, I had dull pain at my back and abdomen, finished tx for breast ca, 4 months ago?
Fibroids: These are likely fibroids and are small; won't be related to breast cancer but they are looking at your ovaries. You may be at higher risk of ovarian cancer if you have the brca 1 or 2 gene. If you get your ovaries removed the hot flashes can be a nightmare. In this case I am good at using non hormones to improve those sx's but the ovaries still produce estrogen which has many good effects.
I had lung nodule found on ct of abdomen. They r going to do full ct. I recently had clean X-ray of chest. What should I think?
It depends on: The characteristics of the nodule and your risk profile. If you are at low risk (i.e. a nonsmoker), and the nodule is a small smooth rounded incidental nodule, likely it will mean follow up at 6 or 12 months for a couple of years to confirm stability, since the vast majority of these are benign. If it is large and irregular in shape, and you are at higher risk, it becomes more suspicious.
How is a 5mm non-calcified lower lobe pulmonary nodule in a non-smoker managed? Was found incidentally on a contrast CT of abdomen.
Recommendation: Fleischner society recommendation for nodule this size is follow up ct at 12 months and, if no change, no further follow up for low risk (e.g. Nonsmoker etc.) patient. For high risk patient, follow up CT at 6-12 months and then at 18-24 months if no change.
After diagnosis with C.T scan Abdomen results were liver cyst - small left lung base nodule, my mother have pain symptoms every four days pls advice?
May not cause pain: Liver cysts are usually benign fluid filled structures. There are may causes for lung nodules including lung cancer and therefore usually requires follow up. Neither is usually painful.
I have a couple of hard, nodular lumps in upper abdomen 3 years painful if pressed pain is sharp and goes through to back. Is it a lipoma?
Need 2 Be Seen: Lipomas are the most common cause of lumps under the skin (in the subq space), however they rarely cause shooting pain on palpation as you describe. I suggest that you make an appointment with your primary care doctor to help sort this out.
Can you have thyroid nodules on your abdomen? I found a pea size lump and my doctor said it's nothing. Now I keep finding other bumps
Doubtful: I agree with your physician. The lumps or masses you feel on your abdomen are more than likely sebaceous cyst or lipomas, small fatty tumors. These are not worrisome. If they become painful or rapidly grow, consult with your physician. If they are unsightly they can electively be removed. Most of my patients can find one or more of these on their body. Good luck.See 1 more doctor answer
