Serious Rx: If you have not been offered a trial of isotretinoin, please get with your physician now and ask about this. It is not for the faint-hearted and there are risks, but most people who have needed it are glad. Under dosed?: See your dermatologist and ask him if the 30 mg dose is sufficient. It is usually based on weight. The standard is 1mg/kg/d so a 130 pound person should be on 60 mg per day. Cruel disease: You are living in the 21st century, you have already worked hard, and there's no reason you should still have this or be told to let it go away by itself.
