No Periods For 10 Months Can It Be Ovarian Cancer
Unlikely: Unfortunately, most ovarian cancers don't have symptoms. If they do, it is usually vague abdominal discomfort, bloating, getting full early. Most ovarian cancers happen after the menopause. It is a cancer which arises from the ovary. This cancer is typically silent, producing little or no symptoms till it spreads, first into the pelvic area and later into the peritoneal cavity leading to fluid accumulation(ascites) which is often the first symptom. I only have periods every 3 to 4 Months. I have had a few miscarriages andi want to know if its possible that i have ovarian cancer.
Not likely: Unless you have a family history of ovarian cancer or BRACA positivity, not likely. I am concerned about the reason for your miscarriages. Have you been evaluated for a blood clotting disorder? You should be seen by a complicated OB specialist and be evaluated for your miscarriages and your decreased frequency of periods. Are you in otherwise good health? Best wishes! ...Read more

Irergular periods : Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. This is not related to a biopsy. Are you sure it was to rule out ovarian cancer? That does not sound right. ...Read more

It is possible: There could be many causes of amenorrhea (no periods) and pelvic pain. It is possible to have premature menopause (menopause at less than 35 years old). When you had your tubal ligation, the ovaries would have been visualized and most likely appeared normal. Your pain may be due to adhesions from the tubal (abnormal scarring). ...Read more

If young & healthy..: Many women have occasional variation of their mucus discharge, some spotting between periods, a heavier period, a lighter period, a longer or shorter period, or even a missed period. Having one or two of these symptoms doesn’t necessarily mean there is a medical problem, but a visit to one’s primary care or Ob-Gyn doctor is a good idea if symptoms are persistent, recurring, or worrisome. ...Read more
