Depends : How long have you been on it ? Have you missed any pills? Missed pills will cause abnormal bleeding. Also this could be your regular period. If you stopped: Birth contol and have no periods, then bleed after intercourse, you may not be ovulating regularly, thus not having a period, thus growth of lining that comes out with intercourse; you may need a pap/ gyn exam, some infections present this way. Did u call your gyn?: Hopefully you already called your gyn who did the cyro, i assume your gyn told you not to have sex until a couple of days after your discharge is totally gone, you need to see your gyn to make sure the cervix is healing properly and does not have an infection, and no more intercourse until you se your gyn. ...Read more

Withdraw bleed: The first bleed was probably not an issue. Stopping the pack early will cause you withdraw bleed. This will also cause your period to not come on time. It may take a couple of cycles to get back to regular. You could restart your pill pack after you start your next cycle. Remember to use back up protection to prevent pregnancy. Birth control pill thins the inner lining of the uterus. Your break thru bleeding made the thining even worse and by the time you heat to placebo pills there is almost no inner lining left.
