There are usually local breast-feeding groups that can be helpful with all sorts of new baby concerns. You can find friends and share both ideas and efforts. There are a few in franklin, tn. Hi, I woke up two days ago and I noticed a round bump/blister on the side on my nipple where my piercing is. What could it be? Infection? Herpes?

Pustule: This could be a bacterial skin infection (pustule) rather than a herpes infection since there is only one lesion. If other blisters develop then herpes would be more likely and your physician could confirm the diagnosis and prescribe treatment. Until then apply warm soaks, pat dry and apply antibacterial cream like Neosporin. ...Read more
